  6. Now add the boiled toor dal, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander-cumin powder, salt, jaggery and mix it properly.
  7. Let it boil for 10 minutes.
  8. For Tempering: In a small pan take oil, and add all the ingredients mentioned for tempering. Add it to the boiling sambar.
  9. Sambar is ready. Serve hot with boiled rice. Enjoy!!
