- For aloo patal stir fry: heat oil in a kadahi, sprinkle cumin seeds, green chilli, aesfoetida. Let it splutter, add aloo patal. Cook covered for 3-4 minutes stirring in between. Remove lid, add turmeric powder and salt. Mix well and cook stirring for 5-6 minutes till it is completely cooked.
