  5. Take a dough ball and roll it to 6-inch disc(about the size of roti) on a dusted rolling board. Now, apply ghee and sprinkle some whole wheat flour on the disc.
  6. Now, from the edges start to fold and pleat the paratha.
  7. Roll the pleated paratha and join the edges properly.
  8. Lightly dust with whole wheat flour and roll the paratha to about 5 inch of diameter. Do not roll the parathas hard else you will lose all the layers.
  9. Heat the tava and place the paratha once the tava is hot.
  10. Now, flip the paratha and add ghee or oil to the cooked side and flip again and add ghee to this side also. Flip the parathas few times till they are properly cooked.
  11. Serve the parathas hot with any Indian curry, achar and onion.
  12. This is how the layers of paratha look.
