  1. Make ready 250 grams bajji chillies
  2. Make ready 1 cup besan/ Chick pea flour
  3. Get 2 teaspoons Salt
  4. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon red Chilli powder
  5. Take 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  6. Take 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves
  7. Make ready 1 tablespoon Amchur / dry mango powder
  8. Make ready as required Oil for frying
  9. Take Pinch baking soda or eno fruit salt

It also known as Mirchi Bhaji. During raining, mirch pakora often used as snacks. There are many variant of mirch pakoras also. Usually we use green chilies in our normal spicy dishes, but sometimes these green chilies are a delicious snack by themselves.

Steps to make Mirchi Pakora:
  1. Wash and clean the chillies. Wipe them dry
  2. Make a slit in the centre and remove the seeds.
  3. In a dish mix the amchur powder, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder and 1 teaspoon salt. Bajji masala is ready
  4. Sprinkle this bajji masala in the slits of the chillies
  5. In a bowl mix besan, remaining salt and cumin powder, also add chopped coriander, chilli powder. Add water and mix well so it's lump free. Do not add water at once, the batter should be dosa batter consistency.
  6. Add a pinch of soda and mix well.
  7. Heat oil in a kadhai. It should be medium hot, so the chillies get cooked from inside.
  8. Dip the pakoras in the batter. And carefully dip in the oil.
  9. Fry from both sides till golden brown.
  10. Serve with your favourite chutney or sauce accompanied with hot tea or coffee and relish your crunchy fritters.
