  2. Prepare 4 tbsp ghee
  3. Make ready 2 tbsp Milk Boiled, cooled
  4. Take 1 Pinch Salt

  6. Make ready as needed Oil for deep frying
  7. Make ready 2 tbsp Rice flour
  8. Prepare 2 tbsp pistachios chopped and dry rose petals
  9. Prepare 1 cup sugar
  10. Take 1/2 cup Water
  11. Make ready 1 tbsp Rose essence

Instructions to make Khaja:
  1. Sieve All purpose flour in a bowl.
  2. Add 2tbsp ghee, milk,salt and mix well.
  3. Then add water slowly to make the dough soft.
  4. Cover the bowl with cotton cloth then leave it for 5 min.
  5. Sprinkle flour and roll out the dough into large thin chapatti.
  6. In a bowl add rice flour and remaining 2 tbsp ghee and mix well.
  7. Spread evenly all over the chapatti.
  8. Then fold the chapatti tightly and cut into diamond shape.
  9. Take each piece & gently press or roll out.
  10. For sugar syrup - Add water & sugar in a pan, mix gently & let it dissolves.
  11. Then add cardamom & let it boil. Leave it for 7 min for string consistency.
  12. Heat oil in a pan, deep fry on medium hot oil.
  13. Once fried flip over & cook another side.
  14. Once it turned golden brown & crispy take it out.
  15. Immediately place in to the sugar syrup & leave it for 2 min. Then take it out & cool it in room temperature.
  16. Once sugar syrup fully absorbed & totally dried store it in an airtight container with garnished by rose petals and pistachios.
