  13. Prepare 1/4 cup Dahi
  14. Make ready 1 Onion
  15. Prepare 2 Tomato
  16. Prepare 4-5 Potato (optional)
  17. Make ready 6-8 Sabit Lal Mirch
  18. Get 8-10 Harimirchain
  19. Get 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  20. Get 1 tbsp Salt (to taste)
  21. Prepare 1 Bayleaf
  22. Take 1 Badyian ka phool (star anise)
  23. Get 4-5 Cloves
  24. Prepare 6-8 Kalimirch
  25. Get 2-3 Bari Illachi
  26. Get 4-6 Choti Illachi

Make the pilau masala: In a medium bowl, combine the cumin, paprika, cardamom, black pepper, and cloves. Great use of beef stew meat! Wonderful beef stew with coriander, coconut and tomatoes. This is a dish from East Africa, but has lots of Indian influence.

Steps to make Beef Pilau:
  1. Clean & wash beef nicely. Slice one onion.peel ginger & garlic. Add beef onion,ginger,garlic,bay leaf,green chillies in pot full of water.take piece of malmal cloth and add sabit dhania & saunf init.tied the cloth.add this potli in pot as well. Let the beef cooked in water till it gets tender.
  2. Heat oil in another pot.add slice onion, fry to golden & take out to sprinkle at top.add whole sabit garam masala in pot with sabit lal mirch.fry for a minute.add 2 tomatoes (skin removed),dahi,salt,ginger garlic paste.fry masala.add potato cut in quarters.add 1/2 cup water and let potato get tender.
  3. When the beef is tender,remove the piece of cloth from water there should be at least 2-3 cups of yakhni left.take out beef meat from yakhni & add in masala to be cook in masala & get flavours.
  4. Now when potatoes are soft as well & beef is also fried in masala.squeeze all juices from malmal cloth in masala.add chop harimirchain in it.add drained rice in masala.add beef yakhni as well. Estimate the amount of yakhni in pot.if needed then add more plain water & let the rice cook at medium to high heat.
  5. When the water is about to dried out,place the pot at simmer plate fir dum.first 5-8 min high heat then lowers the heat.
  6. Serve the Beef pilau with fried onions at top along with raita lal mirch ki chutney and salad. Enjoy meatyeid
