- Heat sufficient water in a Idli maker. Grease Idli mould with some oil. For a ladleful of batter in each mould. Place them in a Idli maker. Cover and steam for 12 to 13 minutes.
- After 12 or 13 minutes your Idli is ready remove it from a mould and serve it.
