- For Marination,add turmeric,salt and lemon juice to chicken and keep aside for 30 min
- For Green paste, mix all ingredient and coarse grind,add water to make it smooth paste
- Add yoghurt and green paste to chicken and keep aside for 60 min
- In a pan add 6 tbsp oil and add 5 cloves, 3 cinnamon and 6 cardamom,
- Place chicken pieces(withouth marinade mix and fry for 2-3 min(do not stir)
- Flip chicken pieces and fry for another 2-3 min
- Fry till oil separates,pour remaining marinade mix and fry for 3-4 min on medium heat,cook for another 5 min on low heat
- Add 2 tbsp(1.5 medium size) crushed fried onions and 1 tbsp garam masala, cook for 2 min on medium heat
- Add 300 water and cover cook for 15 min on low heat
- Garnish with fried onion and serve
