  16. Prepare 2 tablespoon Butter

  1. Take a pressure cooker, add chana daal, 2 cups of water,salt, turmeric powder, tomato, asafoetida and 4-5 drops of oil in it, set the lid and cook it for 2-3 vessels.
  2. Now heat butter in pan, add cumin seeds and green chilli in it and allow it crackle.
  3. Now add chopped onion in it and saute it until it becomes light brown in colour.
  4. Then add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and dry fenugreek leaves in it and cook it well.
  5. Now add curd in the spices and cook it until it starts leaving sides if the pan.
  6. Then add cooked chana daal, cashew nuts, raisins and 1/2 a cup of water in it and cook it for 10-15 minutes on medium flame then switch off the flame.
  7. Serve it with chapati or jeera rice.
