- Get 75 grams Poppy seed-soaked in warm water for 1hour and paste it
- Take 200 grams Ghee+6tbsp Ghee
- Prepare 8 Dry Red chillies
- Get 4 Bay leaves
- Take 4 Green Cardamoms
- Take 6 Cinnamon(1"stick each)
- Make ready 6 Cloves
- Take 2 Black cardamoms
- Prepare 1/2 Mace or Javetri
- Make ready 1 tbsp Whole black pepper
- Prepare 3 tsp Sugar
- Get 3 tbsp Garam masala powder
- Get 1 pinch Saffron soaked in 1/4cup warm Milk
- Take 1 cup Water
- Get 1.5 tbsp Rose water
- Take 1.5 tbsp Kewra water

Please follow the video and make Chicken Rezala easily at your home. - To begin making the Bengali Style Chicken Rezala Recipe - Chicken Korma, grind the onion, half of ginger and half of garlic in a mixer to a smooth paste.
Steps to make Chicken Rezala 2.0 (Ultimate restaurant style):
- Make some deep 45° angular cut in the chicken pieces.
- Marinate chicken with ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, yogurt, half of the onion paste, white pepper powder, salt and 25g butter. Keep it in refrigerator for minimum 2 hours.
- Heat 200g ghee in kadhai. Temper with red chillies, bay leaves, green cardamom, black cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, mace, black pepper.
- Fry remaining onion paste for 2min in high flame.
- Add marinated chicken. Mix well, cover and cook in medium heat for 15 mins.
- Add cashew-poppy seed paste, sugar, garam masala powder and mix. Cook for another 15min or till the chicken is tender. Add water in between.
- Add rose water, kewra water and Saffron infused milk. Cover and simmer for 2 min. Switch off the flame.
- Meanwhile, in a frying pan heat 25 g butter and 6tbsp ghee. Add the sliced onions and fry till the onion rings are translucent.
- Add the fried onion rings with all the butter and ghee into the chicken.
