- Red chutney : In a mixie jar add together the chopped coconut, red chilli paste, curry leaves, ginger, garlic, vinegar, salt, roasted chana and food colour.
- White chutney : In a mixie jar take together the chopped coconut, garlic, green chillies, salt and pepper.
- Grind everything to a smooth paste by adding little water for the red chutney. For the white chutney grind the ingredients roughly and then add the curd and grind to a smooth paste.
- For the tempering: Heat oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chillies. Let them splutter. Pour over the red and white chutneys. Enjoy!
