Method with step by step pictures : Boil the potatoes by adding little turmeric. Garlic Potato Stuffed Poori or Lasun Aloo Poori is a stuffed poori with spicy potato made with garlic and spices.   2. Now add grated boiled potatoes. Mix well. Now slowly add water as required and prepare a stiff dough. Cover the dough and keep aside for 15 to 20 minutes to set. After 20 minutes, when the dough is set, knead it.
  3. Cut the dough into small or medium pieces. make small lemon sized balls and roll the dough evenly into circles using a rolling pin.
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan or kadhai. when the oil is sufficiently hot, add one poori and press with the spoon to puff up.
  5. Fry the poori till golden brown from both sides. Then drain the poori into tissue paper to remove excess oil. fry all pooris same way.
  6. Finally, serve aloo poori with curries of your choice.

In most of the restaurants, puri is It is a fantastic combination for poori. This potato/aloo bhaji goes well with chapati also. But poori tastes the best only with potato masala or potato kurma as served in restaurants / Hotels. In Tamil we say this as "Poori Kizhangu" and in Hindi it is called as bhaji. Poori-Puri and Potato Masala is a common breakfast dish available in all south Indian Restaurants.
