  3. In a dosa pan pour a ladleful of uttapam batter and spread in a circular motion. Maintain the thickness of uttapam and it should not be like a thin dosa. - Now spread the toppings on top of the uttapam evenly. After the topping has been added press gently so the toppings are pressed into the batter. Add 1 tbsp of butter around the uttapam. - Cover it and let it cook for 1-2 minutes in low flame.
  4. Flip over on the other side once the uttapam turns golden brown. Cook it for 1-2 minutes in a low flame. Serve with sauce and chutney.
