- Heat the mixture till it becomes sticky. This will be a stuffing
- Take maida oil and water,make a doogh out of it
- Make small balls from the dough and flatten them
- Keep two teaspoon coconut mixture on the flattened dough
- Fold the flattend dough in the shape of a semi circle and press it by it's end. These give our pithe.
- Take a kadhai and heat some oil in it
- Temper jeera, dried chillie, bay leaves
- Pour washed cholar dal and water in it.

- Add the pithes in it
- Now add the rest of the sugar, salt to taste.
- Simmer it until the dal is boiled fully.
- This is not needed to be thickened much.
- Pour it out in a dish
- Now spread aome ghee and garam masala in it
- Serve it when it cools down

I have done away with fresh coconut because dried is so much easier, but if you have the time, fresh coconut is tastier. (Be careful as the seeds may pop a bit.)
