  1. Soak the sabudana in water over night. You can take small or big sabudana, it's upto you. It should be very soft after puffing up in the morning. Press it with your finger to check it out.
  2. Now take a pan, add 2 tsp of ghee. Now fry the dry fruits in ghee & keep it aside.
  3. Now in the same pan, add the sabudana mixture and cook it on a low flame till the sabudana becomes transparent. It should look crystal-type.
  4. Now add sugar to it. You can add powdered or normal sugar, it's up to you. Now add the fried dry-fruits. Mix it well. Add a pinch of cardamom powder & orange food colour and mix everything well.
  5. It will now start leaving water. Cook it on a low flame until the mixture starts gathering and starts leaving the pan. Now remove it from the gas. Let the temperature lower down a bit, then start making ladoos.
  6. I have served them on paper cups and garnished with some black raisins on top of it. Your Navratri special Sabudana Ladoos are now ready to serve.
