  1. Get 1 cup samak rice
  2. Make ready 3 boiled potatoes
  3. Prepare 3 kaddi ptta
  4. Take 2 green chillies
  5. Make ready Rock salt
  6. Take Corrainder

  1. Firstly Cooked samak rice with double of water(means 1 cup rice n 2 cup water) n jeera n salt
  2. Take that cooked n cool rice or leftover rice.. add boiled grated potatoes… Add finely chopped chillies, kaddi ptta n corrainder.. add lil bit of salt(as we also add salt in rice)
  3. Mash properly with hands… Make tikkis… Flatten them n make hole in btw with finger..
  4. Fry them.. 2 by 2😝… On low flame… Enjoy with peanut m corrainder chutney 😊

These are the perfect snack for Navratri vrat (Hindu fasting). These sabudana vada are crispy from outside while soft from inside. This light and crispy sabudana vada is not only fun to eat snack but also a preferred fasting food during fasting days and festivals like Navratri. This is also an easy kid's snack that can be served in breakfast. Vadai is my favorite evening snacks.
