  2. Prepare 1 cup cottage cheese grated
  3. Make ready 1 cup potato boiled & mashed
  4. Prepare 1/4 cup gram flour
  5. Take 5 cashew chopped
  6. Make ready 3 tbsp corn flour/ maida to roll
  7. Get 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  8. Take 1/4 tsp turmeric
  9. Make ready 1/2 tsp garam masala
  10. Get 1/4 tsp salt
  11. Prepare Oil for deep frying
  12. Make ready For gravy———–
  13. Make ready 3 tsp oil
  14. Prepare 1/4 tsp garam masala
  15. Make ready 1/4 cup cashew paste
  16. Get 1/4 cup cream
  17. Prepare 1 cup water
  18. Get 1 tsp salt
  19. Make ready 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  20. Take 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  21. Get 1/4 tsp turmeric
  22. Take 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  23. Get 1 onion finely chopped
  24. Prepare 1 bay leaf
  25. Take 3 tsp oil

Paneer kofta recipe is a nice cheese-flavored meatball. Imagine the delish when Mozzarella cheese permeates into minced beef and combined with other spices, that's soft and delicate cheese kofta. Deep fried paneer koftas served in a rich, creamy onion and tomato gravy is one of the most mouth-watering curries you will ever come across. Served along with Indian breads & pulaos.

Instructions to make Paneer Kofta:
  1. Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take 1 cup grated paneer and 1 cup boiled & mashed potato. Also add 1/4 cup besan, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 5 chopped cashew and 1/4 tsp salt.
  2. Combine well to form a smooth and soft dough. Pinch a small ball sized dough and prepare a round/ Oval ball without any cracks. Roll them in corn flour for extra crisp outer covering.
  3. Deep fry in hot oil….stir occasionally, and fry on medium flame. Fry till the kofta turn golden and crisp. Drain off the paneer koftas and keep aside.
  4. For gravy— Now in a large kadai heat 3 tsp oil and saute 1 bay leaf add in 1 onion and saute well…..saute 1 tsp ginger garlic paste till the raw smell disappears. Now add 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp cumin powder and 1 tsp salt.
  5. Now add 1 cup water and 1/4 cup fresh cream stir well till the cream combines well. Further add 1/4 cup cashew paste and mix well adjusting consistency….to prepare cashew paste soak 10 cashew in 1/4 cup warm milk for 15 minutes and blend to smooth paste.
  6. Now add in prepared paneer kofta. Cover and simmer for 8 minutes or till the kofta absorbs curry. Additionally, add 1/4 tsp garam masala stir well.
  7. Finally, serve paneer kofta curry with jeera rice , roti or naan.
