The ingredients needed to make Paneer-chasni:
  1. Take 100 gms Paneer - cut into cubes grilled pan fried
  2. Prepare 3-4 Roasted red peppers or adjust your taste
  3. Get 3 tbsp Sunflower oil
  4. Get 2 onions, finely chopped
  5. Prepare 2 tsp garlic paste
  6. Get 1 tsp ginger paste
  7. Take 1 tsp ground coriander
  8. Take 2 Green cardamoms
  9. Get 2 Cloves
  10. Prepare 1/4 inch Cinnamon stick
  11. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon(s) turmeric powder
  12. Take 1/2 teaspoon(s) chilli powder
  13. Get 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  14. Prepare 1/4 cup(s) mango chutney
  15. Prepare 1/4 cup(s) tomato sauce or ketchup
  16. Make ready 6-8 fresh mint leaves, washed and finely chopped
  17. Take 1 teaspoon(s) lemon juice
  18. Make ready 1/4 cup Double cream
  19. Make ready to taste Salt and pepper
  20. Get 1-2 tbsp butter (optional)

There should be no cracks on the dough ball (as shown in the pic below). Pieces of cheez cookes with peppes onion and extra tomato for tangy spicy flavour. This is a medium spiced, slightly sweet curry based on natural yoghurt, mango chutney & tomato puree Medium. Mild, creamy, sweet & sour sauce.

Steps to make Paneer-chasni:
  1. Heat 1 tsp oil in a grill pan.
  2. Arrange paneer cubes and grill on a medium heat, until golden colour on both the sides. This would out immersed in the gravy…..
  3. Now heat 1tbsp oil in a saucepan over a medium heat.
  4. Add Green cardamoms, Cloves, Cinnamon stick, onions, garlic and ginger paste and fry, stirring frequently, for 5-7 minutes until they are light brown and caramalised.
  5. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
  6. When cool, blend onion mix and Roasted peppers to a smooth paste.
  7. Add the mango chutney and tomato sauce and cook for 2 minutes.
  8. Now add the double cream and simmer for a few more minutes.
  9. For an extra rich gravy, add the butter and stir until melted..
  10. Season to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
  11. Add paneer grilled pieces.
  12. Mix well and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  13. Adjust the gravy consistency at this time if needed
  14. Serve with boiled rice and Enjoy this new dish.
