In a deep vessel, put oil, and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and chana dal. Cooked rice and green peas mixed with cumin seeds, green chilly and other ingredients in a microwave. - Add the Bay leaf, dry red chilli,cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom pods, star anise, ginger garlic paste, cloves and sauté for 2 minutes until you get a sweet aroma
- Next add the boiled peas and corn and mix well and sauté for another 5 minutes covered
- Now add the rice, salt and garam masala and cook covered after mixing well for 10 minutes
- Take off the heat and serve garnished with caramelised onions, cashews and raisins
