You can add noodles in it, but today I. finally, cut half schezwan noodle dosa or spring dosa and serve immediately with tomato sauce. notes: firstly, use any noodles of your choice, however, rice noodles taste great for spring dosa recipe. Steps to make Schezwan Cheese Dosa:
- For Dosa Batter Preparation
- Add urad dal, chana dal & methi seeds in a large bowl. Add 1/2 cup rice to another large bowl.
- Now rinse dals,rice thoroughly a few times and soak in enough water for around 4 hours. Again rinse and soak in water for overnight.
- 30 minutes before blending this mixture rinse again and drain the water completely. Add salt and 3/4 cup water and blend until smooth, frothy & bubbly. It must be a thick batter yet of pouring consistency.
- Leave it few hours for fermentation.
- For Dosa Filling - Heat another pan add oil and crackle mustard seeds. - Then add cumin and fry them till they splutter and change color.
- Add the drained chana dal. Fry the chana dal for about 3 to 4 minutes.Add thinly sliced onions. Stir and saute till the onions turn translucent.
- Add curry leaves, green chilies, turmeric powder and asafoetida. Stir and saute for a few seconds.
- Then add the potatoes & peas. Season with salt and sugar.Stir and then add chopped coriander leaves. Stir again and potato sabzi is ready to serve.
- For making dosa - Now heat a pan sprinkle some oil once the pan is hot pour this dosa batter in middle and keep spreading it from middle to edge of pan ìn round and let it cook for few minutes on medium heat.
- Add schezwan sauce and spread it on dosa. Add generous amount of potato filling and place cheese slice.
- Now let it cook for about a minute and close the dosa from 1 edge to middle nad similarly on another edge too.
- Hot schezwan cheese dosa is ready to indulge in.
