- Firstly, heat a pan. saute chana dal to light golden brown.add dried red chilli.
- Saute well till the chillis turn crisp.
- Take a bowl add this dal and chilis add water soak 2 to 3 hours.
- Now transfer to the blender. - blend to smooth paste adding water as required.
- Now take a pan heat oil and tempering mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves add red paste. Add salt and red chilli powder mix well.
- Red chutney is ready to serve with dosa.
