- First wash it dal nicely and soak it for 5-6 hours with Fenugreek seeds.
- Now trasfer dal in a muslin cloth or strainer for sprouts….it will take around 10-12 hours.
- Once our dal sprouts will come….in a mixer will add sprouts,green chilli,ginger,salt and water… blend nicely and make a thick paste like dosa batter.
- Now spread it batter on tawa…(if we want like dosa will cook one side…otherwise both sides for chilla)….
- I tried both ways…..both came nicely…..we can add chopped onion also on top if like…in between add little oil all sides….
- Serve with coconut chutney or salad😋….. Healthy and tasty breakfast is ready.
Moong dal chilla is a favorite breakfast at our home. I have whole green gram handy always as it is very quick and easy to cook with.
