- Let's start by preparing the dough: Beat the egg yolks and sugar with a whisk. Add water and whisk again.

- Pre-heat the oven at 180 degrees and start spreading the dough in the mold. Typically, I would use a round one for tarts and quiche (25 cm of diameter), but this time I used what was available at hand! (see main picture).
- Flatten the dough while elevating the border. You can style the border of the the tart by pinching the dough all around. When ready use a fork to press lightly and sporadically over the bottom. Place a backing paper on the dough and dried beans on the paper. Place it in the oven and let it bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Meanwhile, we can prepare the filling: the famous "Crème Patissière"! Boil the milk with the vanilla sugar. - Mix well the egg with the sugar and then add the flour. Pour the boiling milk on the mix and… mix well! - Put the mix in a pot and heat again. Turn gently. Remove just after boil.
- Almost done! Spread the cream evenly to fill the bottom of the tart and place nicely the strawberries.
